These are great not only for drying your hair while you're putting on make-up, etc., but for whenever you want your hair out of your face (securely and without the pain of a twisty-tie, I get headaches from those).
I also use these when I pet-sit for one family in particular who aren't the cleanest people I've ever met so that my hair stays clean and I can just shower when I get home and then take off the Turbie Twist. (I know, I know, sounds gross, but dang, it works!)

with the Turbie towel, my long thick hair is not in my way while putting on my make up, cleaning my house, truck or even at work where we have a dress code that says we cant have hair hanging no longer than from the shoulder.

I think that this item is absolutely genius! I always put my makeup on first then do my hair because otherwise the hair gets in the way of doing the make up first. My towel constantly falls down while I trying to work and it is soooo irritating. This is a great idea and I certainly advise getting it.

I have used these for years and am ordering another pair (they do wear out over time-just like dish towels). Excellent for mid-length to long hair: you can walk around without the towel falling off while soaking up all of the extra water to make blow drying easier.
